The main opposition Congress in Telangana will tomorrow resume its 'Praja Chaitanya bus yatra' to highlight the alleged failures of the TRS government.
The party is taking up the yatra (bus yatra to raise people's awareness) in phases.
The next phase, beginning tomorrow, will be held from May 13 to 19.
It would resume with a public meeting at Mancherial near Adilabad, state Congress president N Uttam Kumar Reddy said, according to a party release.
A total of 32 Assembly constituencies have been covered in the previous phases of the campaign.
The 'Rythu Bandhu' investment support scheme launched this week by the TRS government was nothing more than an election gimmick, Reddy alleged.
"KCR (Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao) neglected farmers for the last four years and now he is trying to pacify them by offering different sops."
"He did not even express his condolences when over 4,500 farmers committed suicide and now he is trying to project himself as 'Rythu Bandhu' (relative of farmers)," the release quoted Reddy as saying in a live interaction with party workers on a social media platform last night.
