Man commits suicide in temple

A 23-year-old man allegedly

committed suicide in a temple here this morning, police said.

Arvind Kumar, resident of Jamunipur village stabbed himself to death in front of a statue of a goddess in the Ahorwa Bhawani temple in the district, early morning, they said.

Circle Officer of Tololi, M L Chowdhary said Kumar apparently had some marital issues and perhaps he decided to end his life because of those reasons.

Kumar reached temple on his motorcycle and in a haste killed himself in front of the statue of the goddess, ASP Munna Lal said.

Police reached the spot after some time and took the body in its possession. A case has been registered by the police in the district.
 

The body will be sent for postmortem, police said.
