Man dies of lightning

A farmer was killed after he was struck by lightning at Kanthalia village, about 90 kms from here, in Ghatsila sub-division, police today said.

The 28-year-old victim, Lalchand Thamaria was ploughing his field when he was struck by thunder accompanied by rain.

Thamaria died on the spot, sources said.
