Man from Nagaland arrested with arms

A person, hailing from Nagaland, was arrested and arms and ammunition recovered from his possession in Assam's Karbi Anglong district today, a senior police officer said.

The CRPF and police nabbed the person from Nowghat area under Bokajan subdivision of the district and recovered a .22 pistol with four rounds of ammunition and a 7.65 pistol from his possession, the officer said.

The person, identified as Lukuto, hailed from Hotovi village under Kuhubita police station in Nagaland.
