Man hacked to death over land feud

The victim and his alleged killers were locked in a feud over a piece of land.

Following an altercation, Santosh Mahto and Khiro Mahto, both in their mid-30s, picked up an axe and hacked their paternal uncle, Gopal Mahto, in the morning, the sources said.

Police has recovered the body, which has been sent for post-mortem, and the axe used in the killing.

The two accused were reported at large.
