A 33-year-old man, who allegedly posed as a police officer and duped gullible people on the pretext of providing them high-end mobile phones at cheap price, has been arrested, police said today.
The accused, Ayub Khan, used to introduce himself as a Delhi Police official, to the person whom he intended to cheat, Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime) Ashok Chand said.
Acting on a tip off, a trap was laid yesterday and Khan, a resident of West Vinod Nagari here, was arrested, he said.
