A man allegedly axed to death his four-year-old daughter and physically-challenged son at Fateh Ullah Shahwala village in this district, the police said today.
Paramjit Kaur, the second wife of Sher Singh (45), reportedly did not have good relation with her stepson.
Last night, when she was beating her daughter Jasmine, her stepson Luvdeep tried to record the entire incident on his mobile phone, the police said.
This infuriated Paramjit, who appeared to be mentally unstable. Angry over the whole incident, Sher Singh killed his 16-year-old son and daughter with an axe, they said.
Singh has been arrested and a case registered against him.
