Man shot dead in court premises

A man was shot dead today in a court premises in Hanumangarh district where he had gone for a hearing in a murder case.

Harish Sindhi (45) was a witness in the case.

As he entered the court premises, someone opened fire at him leaving him injured. Police rushed him to a local hospital where he was declared brought dead, police said.

"Sindhi was the witness in the murder case that took place in 2009," they said, adding investigation is on.
