Information Technology company Tech Mahindra on Monday posted nearly 28 per cent rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 796.54 crore in the first quarter ended June 30.
The company had posted net profit of Rs 622.44 crore in the same period a year ago.
The income from operations increased by about 10 per cent to Rs 6,920.93 crore in the reported quarter compared to Rs 6,293.82 crore in corresponding quarter of the last financial year.
Shares of Tech Mahindra closed 0.62 per cent up at Rs 489.7 apiece on BSE.
