In a suspected case of honor killing, a man starngled his daughter and her lover to death after finding them in an objectionable position at his house in Ghangola village here.
Raj Kumar last night saw his daughter with Gulab Singh, who was living in his house on rent since last 6 years, in an objectionable position, police said.
Infuriated Kumar strangled both to death, handed himself over to police and confessed about the crime.
Police said that Kumar's daughter was having an affair with Gulabh and the accused had tried to keep them away by asking his daughter to terminate the relationship.
The bodies have been sent for postmortem and further probe is on into the matter.
