A married woman was electrocuted today under mysterious circumstances in here, police said.
20-year-old Geeta Devi was found dead in a bed entangled in wires at her residence in Sonia Vihar, they said.
Acting on her parents' complaint, police have registered a case of dowry death against the woman's in-laws.
Geeta's parents alleged that her in-laws used to harass her for dowry and accused them of killing their daughter by giving her electric shock, police said.
Geeta got married to Deepak on 2011 and they had a one-month-old child, police said.
