Masoor, its dal decline on subdued demand

Barring a fall in masoor and its dal prices on sluggish demand, other pulses held steady at the wholesale pulses market today.

Marketmen said low demand against adequate stocks position mainly kept pressure on masoor and its dal prices.

Masoor small and bold fell by Rs 100 and Rs 50 to Rs 5,550-5,800 and Rs 5,600-5,850 per quintal, respectively.

Its dal local and best quality also declined by Rs 100 each to Rs 6,500-6,600 and Rs 6,600-6,700 per quintal, respectively.

Following are today's pulses rates (in Rs per quintal):

Urad 5,700-6,300, Urad Chilka (local) 7,000-7,200, Urad best 7,200-7,800, Dhoya 7,600-8,000, Moong 7,200-7,900, Dal Moong Chilka local 8,000-8,500, Moong Dhoya local 8,000-8,300 and best quality 8,800-8,900.
 

Masoor small 5,550-5,800, bold 5,600-5,850, Dal Masoor local 6,500-6,600, best quality 6,600-6,700, Malka local 7,000-7,300, best 7,200-7,300, Moth 5,600-5,900, Arhar 5,450- 5,500, Dal Arhar Dara 6,800-7,100.

Gram 3,350-4,200, Gram Dal (local) 3,800-4,000, best quality 3,900-4,200, Besan (35 kg) Shakti bhog 1,630, Rajdhani 1,630, Rajmah Chitra 4,000-5,800,Kabli Gram small 4,100-6,600, dabra 2,700-2,800, imported 4,700-5,100, Lobia 4,800-5,200, Peas white 2,700-2,725 and green 2,775-2,875.
