Prices of urad and other pulses drifted up to Rs 200 per quintal at the wholesale market today following fall in demand at prevailing levels against adequate stocks position.
Marketmen said easing demand at prevailing higher levels against adequate stocks position in the market mainly pulled down prices of select pulses.
In the national capital, urad and its dal chilka local moved down by Rs 200 each to Rs 5,300-6,300 and Rs 6,700-6,900 per quintal, respectively.

Its dal best quality and dhoya also fell by a similar margin to Rs 6,900-7,500 and Rs 7,300-7,700 per quintal, respectively.
Moong and its dal chilka local declined by Rs 100 each to Rs 6,800-7,800 and Rs 7,700-8,200 per quintal, respectively.
Its dal dhoya local and best quality followed suit and traded lower at Rs 7,700-8,000 and Rs 8500-8,600 per quintal, respectively.
In line with overall trends, moth prices went down by Rs 100 to Rs 5,400-5,700 per quintal.
Arhar and its dal dara variety shed Rs 50 each to Rs 4,900-5,050 and Rs 6,250-6,500 per quintal, respectively.
