The Delhi BJP has deployed special "Digital Raths" to highlight the achievements of the Narendra Modi government during the MCD poll campaigning in the unauthorised colonies and the slums in the city.
A fleet of 35 raths, specially designed e-rickshaws which are fitted with digital screen for audio-visual presentations like speeches of the Prime Minister and documentaries, were rolled out today to cover all the 272 wards of the three municipal corporations in Delhi.
"We have fitted e-rickshaws with all the necessary gadgets for screening the speeches and the documentaries, as they are small and can reach every nook and corner of the unauthorised colonies and slums where large vehicles cannot enter," Delhi BJP spokesman Harish Khurana said.
The raths will also show two documentaries--one based on Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari's 'Reality Check Yatra' of unauthorised colonies and slums "exposing failures" of Kejriwal government to provide basic facilities to people living there.
The other documentary will highlight the achievements of three municipal corporations ruled by the BJP for last one decade, he added.
Parts of Modi's speeches on a number of subjects and key policies of his government, campaign music, and promotional items will be shown on the LED screen of each rath.
