Michael Fassbender gushes about girlfriend Alicia Vikander

Actor Michael Fassbender says he and girlfriend Alicia Vikander fell in love on the sets of their romantic drama, "The Light Between Oceans".

The 39-year-old gushed about his lady love during an appearance on Good Morning America.

"Yeah, we met on that job and have been seeing each other since. She's such a fierce performer. She's so brave. She's not afraid to bring ugly personality traits to the forefront in characters. So I was really impressed by her immediately," Fassbender said.

The couple started dating in 2014 while shooting the film, in which they play a married couple. The movie is based on the 2012 book of the same name by ML Stedman.
 

The duo took a brief break in September 2015 but later got back together.
