Minor boy drowned in pool in Punjab

A 13-year-old boy drowned in a pool at Sri Hargobindpur town here today, police said.

Dhanpreet Singh drowned in the pool which was dug to drain out the sewage water of a resort when he tried to catch a balloon, they said.

The body was fished out by the local police.
