Minor raped by teenage boy

A nine-year-girl was today allegedly raped by a teenage boy in Faizabad district, police said.

According to police, the girl was playing outside her house in Bahadurganj area of Kotwali in the district this afternoon when the accused forcibly took her inside his house and raped her.

The accused, a neighbour of the girl, had been absconding since the incident, the said.
