Mixed trend in the wholesale foodgrains market

Prices of thoor dal, urad dal and moong dal increased, while that of gram dal decreased at the wholesale foodgrains market during the week ended here today.

Thoor Dal opened at the same rate of Rs 13,500, ruled steady till Wednesday and rose by Rs 300 per quintal on Thursday to close this week at Rs 13,800.

Urad dal was down by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 13,400 from its closing rate of Rs 13,500, but again rose on Thursday by Rs 300 per quintal to close the week at Rs 13,700.

Moong dal opened at Rs 9,000 at its same closing rate and its price rose on Thursday by Rs 200 per quintal to finish the week at Rs 9,200.
 

Gram dal opened the week at Rs 5,900, less by Rs 300 per quintal from its previous closing rate of Rs 6,200. Its price again fell on Thursday by Rs 100 to close the week at Rs 5,800.

Sugar (Rs 3,450), Wheat (Rs 3,000), maida (90 kg) (Rs 2,500) and sooji (90 kg) Rs 3,200 ruled steady throughout the week.
