: As part of its plan to modernise bus shelters,the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation today set up a shelter here with air-conditioner, wi-fi, mobile charging points, separate toilets for men and women, ATM, coffee-vending machines, water dispensers and CCTV cameras.
One such air-conditioned bus shelter at Shilparamam was inaugurated by Telangana minister for municipal administration and urban development K T Rama Rao.
The civic body had issued notification for construction of 826 bus shelters across the city on design, build, finance, operate and transfer (DBFOT) basis.
Mayor B Rammohan said open tenders were invited and work on the bus shelters has been handed over to different agencies, after thorough examination of technical and financial bids.
