The body of a eight-year-old boy was found in a jungle near his house in Bankura district two days after he went missing, police said.
Superintendent of Police, Sukhendu Hira said the boy was missing since Sunday.
His father Dil Islam Khan had lodged a complaint at Taldanga police station yesterday against six persons alleging that they were involved in the kidnapping of his son.
The SP said the Khatra sub-divisional police officer is supervising the case.
