Mother, daughter die under mysterious circumstances

A 47-year-old woman and her 19-year-old daughter died under mysterious circumstances here after they were found in an unconcious state in their house in Manik chowk area.

The incident took place yesterday, when Maya Devi and her daughter Sima were found in an unconcious state and were rushed to SMS hospital by the family members, where they died, police said.

Prima facie it appears they consumed some poisonous substance and committed suicide, they added.
