Mother-son duo get life imprisonment for murder

A man and his mother have been sentenced for life by a local court here for killing his wife in Kanesara village in 2010.

Additional District Judge S P Mishra yesterday awarded life imprisonment to one Jagpal Singh and his mother Sheela Devi, and imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 each on both.

The two had murdered the victim Sarita on December 13, 2010, and set fire to her body.
