A Municipal Commissioner along with an outsourcing staffer working at a Nagar Panchayat in Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh were today trapped while allegedly taking Rs 12,700 as bribe, ACB said.
The Commissioner, T Kanaka Raju, was caught by ACB officials in his office at Palakonda while accepting the bribe amount from a person through V Vinod Kumar, Outsourcing Record Assistant, for doing an official favour, the anti-graft agency said in a release here.
The case is under investigation.
