N D Tiwari discharged from hospital

Senior Congress leader Narayan Dutt Tiwari, who was admitted to a private hospital in Haldwani after falling unconscious, was discharged today.

According to hospital sources, the 91-year-old leader was yesterday admitted with the complaint of "transient loss of consciousness".

As the former Andhra Pradesh governor's health improved, he was discharged from the hospital this evening, the sources said.

Tiwari, who lives in Gora Padav of Haldwani city in Nainital district, was yesterday admitted to the hospital by his wife Ujjwala Tiwari and son Rohit Shekhar.
