Nepal's territory was not being used for any terror activity directed towards India, Former Prime Minister of the Himalayan nation Lokendra Bahadur Chandra has said.
"Terror activities have generally come to an end in Nepal and we also do not have any reports of Nepal's territory being used for any such activity directed towards India," he said here yesterday.
He came here to visit Banke Bihari temple.
He also stressed that many countries of the world are troubled by terrorism and it can only be countered if all of them come together and fight against it.
Without naming Pakistan, he said that even though it has suffered at the hands of terrorism yet terror activities continue to emanate from the country.
Talking about increasing trade relations between the two neighbours, he said that it was a win-win situation for both.
He also hoped the political turmoil in Nepal will end soon and the decreasing influence of Maoists in the country will help in maintaining peace.
