Nimbarkacharya Shriji Maharaj passes away

Acharya of Nimbarkacharya Peeth (Salemabad-Ajmer) Shriji Maharaj died today in Ajmer.

He was 96.

His funeral will be conducted tomorrow.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje condoled his death.

Raje, in her condolence message, said he was famous in not only Nimbark Sampraday but in the entire religious section.

He strengthened social harmony and worked for the welfare of humanity. His death has created a void in the religious world, she said.

Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) also expressed condolences on his death.
