Nine persons, including a minor girl, were killed and ten others injured today when a private bus in which they were travelling overturned in Barmer district in Rajasthan, police said.
The incident took place near Pugasar village in Sedwa area when the victims were on their way to a nearby place to attend a social function, they said.
The driver of the vehicle lost control over it, and it turned turtle, leading to the death of nine of its occupants on the spot.
The injured were admitted in serious condition in different hospitals in the district, police added.
