Nine persons were killed when lightning struck them today in Bihar's Aurangabad and Rohas districts, official sources said.
Four persons, including two girls died, in Rajabigha village and another person died in Vishunpur village after lightning struck on them in Aurangabad district, the sources said.
Three children died after lightning struck in Redia village in Rohtas district while they were standing under a tree during rains, the Block Development Officer (BDO) S K Jaiswal said, adding the deceased were identified as Hriday Kumar (12), Raju Kumar (13) and Hriday Rajwar
One Mathura Sharma (40) was fatally struck by lightning in Lewra village in Rohtas district, he said.
