Odisha minister S N Patro and Assembly Speaker Pradeep Kumar Amat were among about 22 candidates who filed their nomination for the Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in the state.
S N Patro, Minister for Revenue and Disaster Management and a five-time legislator, filed his papers from Digapahandi Assembly constituency in Ganjam district as a ruling BJD candidate.
Amat filed his nomination as a BJD candidate from Boudh (reserved) Assembly constituency.
