The Odisha Government is hosting a conclave to promote the State as an manufacturing hub and attract investments in different sectors.
'Make in Odisha Conclave' will get underway at state captial Bhubaneswar on November 30. The three-day meet is aimed at making Odisha a manufacturing hub of the east and promote it as the most preferred investment destination in the country, according to a release issued here today.
The conclave is being organised in collaboration with the Centre's Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) with CII as an industry partner.
The meet will showcase the manufacturing ecosystem of the State, highlight investment opportunities across focus sectors and elicit investment intentions from companies.
It will organise sessions on identified focus sectors of Odisha, including smart city, chemicals, petrochemicals and plastics, tourism, textiles and apparel, food processing, skill development, electronics manufacturing & IT and defence manufacturing, the release added.
