One injured, six bovines killed in fire at village house

A 30-year old man was injured while six bovines were killed during a fire at a house in Luhsana village here, police said today.

The incident took place last night, when a fire broke out in the house of Ishverpal, a farmer from the village in Budhana area, they said.

Six bovines were killed and Rakesh, son of Ishverpal, sustained burn injuries in the mishap, police said, adding, electrical short-circuit is being suspected as the cause of the fire.
