One killed in bear attack in J&K

A person was killed and four others, including three women, injured in an attack by a wild bear in south Kashmir's Kulgam district today.

Ghulam Mohammad Dar was killed and four persons were injured in the wild bear attack last evening at Fashkani near H M Gori area of the district, a police spokesperson said.

The four injured, identified as Muneera Akther, Abdul Salam Wagay, Kounsar Jan and Roomi Jan, have been admitted to a nearby hospital, he said.

The injured are the residents of Waripora village of D H Pora area.
