A student was today killed and 30 others sustained injuries when a school bus they were travelling in dashed against a roadside tree near Narnaund, about 70 km from here.
The incident took place when bus driver lost control over the vehicle, which was on its way to school, and dashed against a tree, police said.
The deceased student has been identified as Sachin (11), they said.
Among injured were the bus driver, students and teachers of SBS School, they said.
Nearby villagers rescued the students from the bus.
Injured were admitted to various hospitals in Hansi, Hisar and Narnaund, police said.
