A 49-year old brain dead man has given new lease of life to four persons with his relatives agreeing for organ donation.
Dinesh Babu, who was admitted Malabar Institute of Medical Sciences(MIMS) hospital on February 10, was declared brain dead yesterday following intra-cranial bleeding.
Babu's wife and other relatives expressed their willingness to donate his organs, a hospital release said.

A team of doctors, comprising Gastro Enterologist Dr Rajesh Nambiar and Urologists and Nephrologists, are conducting the transplant surgeries, the release added.
Babu was working as senior superintendent at Drugs Control Office, Civil Station in Calicut.
