A Pakistani soldier was injured today in a roadside improvised explosive device (IED) blast targeting a convoy of Frontier Constabulary (FC) here.
The FC convoy was en route to Mohmand Agency when it was attacked near a bridge in Tehsil Shabqadar of Charsadda District, injuring a soldier, police said.
The soldier was rushed to the District Hospital for medical treatment soon after the blast.
FC vehicle was damaged in the blast.
Soon after the blast, officials of the security forces cordoned off the area and started search operation.
