Prices of palmolein and soyabean oil were down by Rs 50 per quintal at the wholesale oil and oilseeds market today owing to slackened demand from retailers.
However, other edible and non-edible oils moved in a tight range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said besides sluggish demand from retailers, adequate stocks position mainly kept pressure on palmolein and soyabean oil prices.
