Paswan expresses surprise at Manjhi's commission comment

Union Consumer Affairs Minister Ram Vilas Paswan today expressed surprise at Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi's comment that he used to get "commission" in developmental projects.

"I can't comment on it as I don't know about Manjhi's statement. I am surprised he has said so," Paswan said in response to a query on the sidelines of a meeting here.

"How can a chief minister say that he is taking commission. Then police action has to be taken against him," he said.
