At least seven persons were killed and several others injured when a car ran over pedestrians at a major airport in southern China today.
The accident happened in Guangdong province's Shenzhen city when a woman lost control over the wheel of the vehicle she was driving, apparantely after she was nervous due to honking by another vehicle.
She has been taken in for questioning by the police, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.

The city's emergency centre said the injured have been admitted to five area hospitals.
Seven are in a critical condition, apart from a badly wounded person.
