Bihar police today seized a pistol, which was used to kill four fishermen at a canal in Mungila village, around 35 kilometres south west from the state capital.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jitendra Rana said, acting on a tip-off that a few criminals were staying at the house of one Musafir Khan at Jamharu village in the vicinity of Mungila, a team raided Khan's house and seized a pistol and eight cartridges.
"During investigation we found out that this was the same weapon, which was used to shoot the fishermen," Rana said.

The killings had taken place on December 15 due to disputes between fishermen and the assailants who had demanded fish for free from them.
Seven persons have been named in the FIR in connection with the killings.
