It was a pleasant, sunny day today in the national capital as the maximum temperature settled two notches above the season's average and the minimum, too, registered a jump.
The maximum was recorded at 26.4 degrees Celsius while the minimum, at 14.6 degrees, was four notches higher than the normal and also represented a rise of 3.4 degrees over yesterday's low of 11.2 degrees.
Humidity in air oscillated between 56 and 91 per cent.

The MeT department has, meanwhile, predicted one or two spells of light rain or thundershowers onwards from tomorrow night.
"The skies will be partly cloudy. One or two spells of very light rain or thundershowers could occur in some areas tomorrow night onwards. The maximum and minimum are expected to hover at 27 and 15 degrees," the weatherman said.
