Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths arrested a police constable attached to the Shevgaon police station in Ahmednagar while accepting bribe of Rs 20,000 at a police station premises today.
Constable Sambhaji Bharat Garje allegedly demanded a bribe to release the complainant's son who is presently in Shevgaon police custody and also for not harassing him in custody, an ACB release said here today.
He has been arrested by ACB officials, the release said.
