Pregnant woman raped in UP

A 30-year-old pregnant woman in Baraut area of the district here was allegedly raped by a youth, police said today.

The incident took place on Monday when the woman, a three-month pregnant, was alone at her house and her 25-year-old neighbour Raju entered her house on some pretext and raped her, police said.

The accused later fled from the spot, they said.

An FIR was later lodged in this connection, police said, adding efforts are on to nab the accused.
