President congratulates Sania on winning third Grand Slam

President Pranab Mukherjee today congratulated tennis ace Sania Mirza for winning the US Open Mixed Doubles tournament as he said her feat has made India proud.

In his message to Sania, the President said, "You have done India proud through this achievement and your success is an example of what can be accomplished through hard work and dedication."

"Please accept my hearty congratulations on having won the US Open Mixed Doubles tournament, making it your third Grand Slam title. I wish you the very best for all future endeavours," he said.
