President Pranab Mukherjee today continued to be under observation at a hospital here where he is recovering after coronary angioplasty.
The President remains under the observation of a team of doctors. So far, no decision has been taken on his discharge from hospital, official sources said.
79-year-old Mukherjee is in the Army Research and Referral Hospital for the fifth consecutive day after angioplasty last week.
Doctors attending on the President at the hospital, where a coronary stent was installed in one of Mukherjee's arteries on Saturday to remove a blockage, have recommended that he should remain hospitalised as a precautionary measure, the sources said.
