Ravinder Zutshi to retire from Samsung this month

Electronics major Samsung India's Deputy Managing Director Ravinder Zutshi is retiring this month-end after serving the company for 19 years.

Zutshi has been associated with Samsung since the South Korean major's India debut in 1995.

"Ravinder Zutshi, Deputy Managing Director, Samsung India Electronics Pvt Ltd, will be retiring on December 31, 2014 after serving the company for 19 years," the company said in a statement.

"He played an important role in Samsung achieving leadership position in the south-west Asia market," it added.

Samsung is a global leader in consumer electronics and employs 286,000 people across 80 countries with annual sales of USD 216.7 billion.
