Prez to inaugurate AMU's off-campus centre in WB on Feb 20

President Pranab Mukherjee will inaugurate the off-campus centre of the Aligarh Muslim University at Murshidabad in West Bengal on February 20.

The centre is situated in village Jangipur in Murshidabad district, an AMU release said here.

A senior AMU official said West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Bannerjee has been invited to grace the occasion but it is not yet clear whether she will attend the function.

The centre will initially offer degree courses in law, business management and education, the release said.
