Two women killed as building collapses in North Delhi

Two women were killed and a man was injured after a three-storey house collapsed in Pahar Dhiraj area of Sadar Bazar in North Delhi today.

"The building collapsed at around 11:45 AM. Two women and a man were pulled out of the rubble and taken to a nearby hospital where the two women were declared dead," Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) Sindhu Pillai said.

The man is undergoing treatment in the hospital.

Police and fire officials are on the spot and rescue operations are on.
