A 36-year-old property dealer was killed by unidentified assailants using sharp-edged weapons in Modikhana area of the city today, police said.
Nitin Katariya was attacked outside his house by the attackers who came on a motorcycle, police inspector Rajendra Singh Gour said, adding that Katariya died on the spot.
Police have detained seven persons in this regard.
As per the preliminary investigation, a property dispute seems to be the reason behind the killing.
A case of murder has been registered by the police.
