MNS chief Raj Thackeray today surrendered before the magistrate's court here in four cases of rioting registered against him in 2008, and was granted bail.

The Magistrate released Raj on bail-bonds of Rs 15,000 each, his lawyer Dhiraj Ghadage said.

Riots broke out at Satara and many other places in Maharashtra after the MNS chief was arrested on October 21, 2008 in Ratnagiri during his party's agitation against North Indians.
