Rajasthan BJP felicitates para-athletes

The Rajasthan unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party today felicitated the state's differently-abled sportspersons who were mentioned in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's monthly radio programme, 'Mann ki Baat' recently.

Paralympic javelin thrower Sundar Gurjar, para-athlete Shatabdi Awasthi and Ishan Khandelwal were felicitated at the BJP office here, a party release said.

Party vice-president Avinash Rai Khanna and state general secretary Chandra Sekhar honoured the athletes, saying they had brought laurels to the state with their performances.
